Layer paints are designed for precise layering and the targeted highlighting of details on miniatures. Teclis Blue is ideal for bright, clear blue tones and is particularly well suited for highlights, edge accents, armor, fabrics, as well as magical or arcane effects. The paint offers balanced, controlled coverage and allows clean transitions with vibrant color effects.
Layer paints are applied in thin layers and allow light and depth to be built up deliberately. Teclis Blue is excellent for lightening darker blue tones, creating smooth color transitions, or adding clean highlights on blue surfaces without covering up details.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in several thin layers. This allows for even surfaces and precise highlights.
