Layer paints are designed for precise layering and targeted highlighting of details on miniatures. Sons of Horus Green is ideal for muted, cool green-turquoise tones and is particularly well suited for armor, fabrics, vehicles, as well as heretical or military color schemes. The paint offers balanced, controlled coverage and allows for clean transitions with a distinctive, slightly desaturated color effect.
Layer paints are applied in thin coats and allow light and depth to be built up in a controlled manner. Sons of Horus Green is excellent for brightening darker green or turquoise tones or for applying subtle highlights without losing the characteristic, dark overall appearance or obscuring details.
For optimal results, it is recommended to slightly thin the paint and apply it in several thin layers. This allows for even surfaces and precise highlights.
