Layer paints are designed for precise layering and the targeted highlighting of details on miniatures. Canoptek Alloy is ideal for bright, cool metallic tones with a slight green and silver tint and is particularly well suited for Necron models, futuristic armor, machines, weapons, as well as technical or alien surfaces. The paint offers fine, controlled coverage and allows clean metallic highlights with clear shine.
Layer paints are applied in thinner layers and allow light and depth to be built up deliberately. Canoptek Alloy is excellent for lightening darker metallic tones, adding edge highlights, or making metallic surfaces appear technical and precise without covering up details.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in several thin layers. This way, even metallic effects and precise highlights can be achieved.
