Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Snakebite Leather 29-27
Contrast colours combine the flow properties of a Shade paint with the colour density and adhesion of a Layer paint. With these paints, various areas of a miniature can be painted effortlessly to achieve strong contrasts and natural effects. Snakebite Leather is ideal for warm leather and earth tones, and is particularly well suited for belts, straps, pouches, boots, wood, as well as nature-inspired colour schemes.
Contrast Paints function as basecoat and shading in one step. The paint settles in recesses and automatically creates deep, natural shadows, while raised areas remain lighter. Snakebite Leather provides a rich, warm brown with a realistic leather effect.
For optimal results, we recommend light base colours and the use of the primers Wraithbone, White Scar or Grey Seer to fully utilise the excellent flow and contrast properties of Contrast Paints.
