Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Sigvald Burgundy 29-64
Contrast paints combine the high flow of a Shade paint with the intense color density and adhesion of a Layer paint, allowing miniatures to be painted quickly and efficiently in a single coat. Sigvald Burgundy is ideal for rich, elegant wine-red and burgundy tones and works particularly well for armor, fabrics, cloaks, leather, decorative details, as well as noble or decadent designs. The paint creates soft, deep contrasts and instantly adds character and elegance to models.
Contrast Paints act as both a base color and shading at the same time, automatically highlighting details and greatly simplifying the painting process. When applied over metallic paints, Sigvald Burgundy alters the color tone without obscuring the metallic texture, making it perfect for ornate weapons, lavish armor, or decorative elements.
For optimal results, light-colored primers are recommended. Wraithbone, White Scar, and Grey Seer are particularly suitable, as they perfectly showcase the transparency and excellent flow properties of Contrast paints.
