Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Plaguebearer Flesh 29-42
Contrast paints combine the high flow of a Shade paint with the rich color density and adhesion of a Layer paint, allowing miniatures to be painted quickly and cleanly in a single step. Plaguebearer Flesh is especially suited for sickly, pale green tones and is ideal for skin, mutations, monsters, undead, demons, and decayed organic surfaces. The paint creates natural shading and instantly adds depth and a corrupted character to models.
Contrast Paints act as both a base color and shading at the same time, automatically emphasizing details and greatly simplifying the painting process. When applied over metallic paints, Plaguebearer Flesh alters the color tone without obscuring the metallic texture, making it suitable for rotting weapons or corrupted armor.
For optimal results, light-colored primers are recommended. Wraithbone, White Scar, and Grey Seer are particularly suitable, as they perfectly showcase the transparency and excellent flow properties of Contrast paints.
