Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Nighthaunt Gloom 27-19
Contrast paints combine the high flow of a Shade paint with the strong colour density and adhesion of a Layer paint, allowing miniatures to be painted quickly and efficiently with a single coat. Nighthaunt Gloom is ideal for cold, ghostly turquoise and blue-green tones and is particularly suitable for ghosts, undead, Nighthaunt models, magical effects, energies, and ethereal or cursed details. The paint creates smooth, flowing shading and gives models an immediate eerie, floating appearance.
Contrast paints function as both base colour and shade, automatically enhancing details and significantly simplifying the painting process. When applied over metallic paints, Nighthaunt Gloom alters the colour tone without obscuring the metallic finish, making it ideal for enchanted weapons or ghostly armour.
For best results, light primers are recommended. Wraithbone, White Scar, and Grey Seer are especially suitable, as they support the transparency and excellent flow properties of Contrast paints.
