Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Leviadon Blue 29-17
Contrast colours combine the flow properties of a Shade paint with the colour density and adhesion of a Layer paint. With these paints, various areas of a miniature can be painted effortlessly to achieve strong contrasts and deep effects. Leviadon Blue is ideal for very dark, rich blue tones and is particularly well suited for armour, fabrics, scales, as well as dark or maritime colour schemes.
Contrast Paints function as basecoat and shading in one step. The paint settles in recesses and automatically creates deep, intense shadows, while raised areas remain lighter. Leviadon Blue provides a strong, dark blue with high contrast and dramatic impact.
For optimal results, we recommend light base colours and the use of the primers Wraithbone, White Scar or Grey Seer to fully utilise the excellent flow and contrast properties of Contrast Paints.
