Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Rhinox Hide 21-22
Base paints are developed for the first, opaque coat on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Rhinox Hide is ideally suited for very dark, earthy brown and leather tones and is particularly well suited for leather, wood, fur, fabrics, armor, as well as natural or heavily worn surfaces. The paint covers reliably and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and provide a clean, stable color base on which highlights and shadows can stand out optimally. Rhinox Hide is excellent as a base color for dark natural tones, leather details, animal hides, or realistic bases with depth.
For optimal results, it is recommended to slightly thin the paint and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
