Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Phoenician Purple 21-39
Base paints are developed for the first, opaque colour application on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Phoenician Purple is ideally suited for rich, intense purple tones and is particularly well suited for armour, fabrics, cloaks, banners as well as noble, arcane, or extravagant colour schemes. The paint provides reliable coverage and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and ensure a clean, stable colour base on which highlights and shadows come into their own optimally. Phoenician Purple is excellently suited as a base colour for vibrant lilac and purple areas or high-contrast, eye-catching designs.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
