Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Ionrach Skin 21-38
Base paints are developed for the first, opaque coat on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Ionrach Skin is ideally suited for very light, pale bluish skin tones and is particularly well suited for undead, aetheric beings, ghosts, vampires, as well as sickly or cold skin depictions. The paint covers reliably and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and provide a clean, stable color base on which shadows and highlights can stand out optimally. Ionrach Skin is excellent as a base color for eerie skin tones, frosty effects, or supernatural models with a pale appearance.
For optimal results, it is recommended to slightly thin the paint and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
