Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Grey Knights Steel 21-47
Base colours are developed for the first, opaque coat of paint on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Grey Knights Steel is ideal for bright, cool steel tones with a slight blue tint and is particularly well suited for armour, weapons, blades as well as order-specific or noble metal surfaces. The paint covers reliably and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and ensure a clean, stable colour base on which metallic highlights and shading can be shown to their best advantage. Grey Knights Steel is excellently suited as a base colour for clean, high-quality metal surfaces with a cool, heroic character.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
