Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Celestra Grey 21-26
Base colours are developed for the first, opaque coat of paint on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Celestra Grey is ideal for bright, cool grey tones with a slight blue tint and is particularly well suited for armour, fabrics, vehicles, stone as well as clean, aetheric or frosty colour schemes. The paint covers reliably and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and ensure a clean, stable colour base on which highlights and shading can be shown to their best advantage. Celestra Grey is excellently suited as a base colour for bright grey surfaces, white build-ups or cold, clear surfaces.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
