Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Barak-Nar Burgundy 21-49
Base paints are developed for the first, opaque colour application on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Barak Nar Burgundy is ideally suited for deep, rich burgundy and wine red tones and is particularly well suited for armour, fabrics, cloaks, banners as well as noble, dark or order-specific colour schemes. The paint provides reliable coverage and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and ensure a clean, stable colour base on which highlights and shadows come into their own optimally. Barak Nar Burgundy is excellently suited as a base colour for dark red tones, ornate details or high-contrast colour schemes.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
