Warhammer Age of Sigmar- Spearhead Maggotkin of Nurgle: Bubonic Cell 70-838
A Plaguecell, led by a Plaguebearer Sorcerer, travels across the Realms, spreading contagion and decay to lands that have so far been spared from disease. Part of this vile assembly are particularly lively and mischievous daemons, torn from the depths of Father Nurgle’s domain in corrupting rituals. The warriors of the Rotmire Cult are often drawn to these infected hordes, hoping to gain knowledge of pestilence to enhance the power of their toxins.
Father Nurgle calls to war, and this box is the perfect way to start a new Nurgle’s Maggotkin collection – or expand an existing army – while saving money compared to buying the kits individually. The army is led by a Plaguebearer Sorcerer, who wields the filthy magic of his patron god. Most of the army consists of a Rotmire Cult, mortal followers eager to spread Nurgle’s plagues. A considerable contingent of Nurglings is included as well. These frolicking daemons are difficult to kill, making them ideal for holding key objectives. A eager Slimebeast provides support, ready to leap upon the largest foes. These miniatures make up a full Spearhead force, meaning you are ready to dive straight into thrilling, tactical games and drown the mortal realms in rivers of filth using this box alone.
This box allows you to build 18 multipart plastic miniatures of Nurgle’s Maggotkin:
– 1x Plaguebearer Sorcerer
– 1x Slimebeast
– 6x Nurglings
– 10x Rotmire Cult miniatures
The miniatures in this box are easily customizable. The Plaguebearer Sorcerer comes with multiple heads – a human head and a mutated fly head.
The Slimebeast has three options for its belly, two sets of hands and feet, three faces, two tentacle crests, and two slobbering tongues.
The Nurgling clusters can be built in dozens of different ways.
The Rotmire Cult includes a Wiltlord Champion, a Bloated with Torment Claws or Torment Claw and Hook-net, two Carrion Catchers each with a choice of Gaff-hooks or Pikers, and six Outcasts of the Swamplands, each with a choice of Gallweed weapons or Gallweed weapon and shield.
This kit contains 161 plastic components and includes 6 Citadel round bases (40 mm), 6 Citadel round bases (25 mm), 3 Citadel round bases (32 mm), 2 Citadel round bases (28.5 mm), and 1 Citadel round base (60 mm). These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
